GUERRILLA WARFARE ENTERTAINMENT

Guerrilla Warfare is an independent label established in 2002 based in South Africa dedicated to providing new music to hip-hop and urban music fans that are seeking alternatives to the music currently being provided by mains stream radio and major labels. Guerrilla Warfare, is formed as an entertainment production, distribution and performance company specializing in the utilization and maximization of current entertainment business opportunities offered through digital satellite music services, the worldwide reach of the internet, as well as within the middle marketplace of the music industry and consumer venue.
We are about changing the norm, the norm being African artists sticking to their type of music and making music for their own society as a result delivery basis is at a local level and is unable to cross the cultural barrier making it impossible for the artists to grow to international status.

We are looking for Artists who are able to make the cut to international status through their skill and quality of music that would be acceptable and universal the basis in the music being in English as this is a universal language. Not to undermine mother tongues but this is the only way we can cross our respective cultural barriers and openly express ourselves to each other.

This will enable us as Africans to support each others music and create a foundation by which we would be able to make music not only for our respective and neighboring countries but for overseas markets as well. We buy, sell and promote their music why can't they do the same for us? They are selling their records in Africa why can't we sell records in their countries? Guerrilla Warfare, its times to balance the trade!
Our vision is to have African artists making waves on the international scene and putting up stiff competition for the currently dominating west. We want African artist to be able to work together for a common goal and through the success of these artists who are willing to share our dream we can open up doors for talent that has not been heard or does not have the means to get the exposure deserved.

As music is all about expression and we believe all gifted must be given the chance to express themselves. So we are taking this challenge as nobody sits back and waits for things to happen, it won't be easy but it will be well worth it.
