Miss Earth is one
of the top three international beauty pageants.
The pageant was launched at the turn of
the new millennium to reinvent and improve
the concept of beauty competitions for the
21st Century.
Miss Earth pageant
believes that beauty queens can be great
and effective advocates of worthy causes.
Candidates to the pageant are beautiful,
intelligent and environmentally aware.
“Cynthia holds a
bachelor’s degree in Land Economy, which
makes her an excellent candidate for the
pageant”, says Justina Mutale.
In keeping with the
Miss Earth objectives of preserving the
environment through conservation of wildlife
and effective promotion of tourism, Cynthia
last month led Zambians in the Run for Wildlife
to raise money for needy wildlife. She also
presented a Road Island to be constructed
on Independence Avenue in Lusaka, on which
plants and flowers will be planted in an
effort to make the capital city of Zambia
a beautiful garden once again.

Miss Earth 2005 promises
to be bigger and better with over 90 countries
