Choose lipstick colors that complement your skin, eyes, and hair color
rather than your outfit. -
A great way to take off make-up is with baby oil. Just dab a little on a
tissue and swipe across your lips. -
Unless you are a pro, never use a pencil that leaves a visible,
contrasting outline. To keep lipstick from bleeding: Apply lip
liner matching your lipstick color along the edges of your lips before
putting on lipstick. Or use a "Nude" or
"Natural" colored lip liner, it works better than trying
to match your lipstick color. That way, if your lipstick comes off, you
aren't left with that dark outline of lip liner.
- To keep your lip gloss from bleeding, use it over pencil, and
sparingly. Try a little clear gloss over a nude pencil.
-
Before applying lip stick put on chap stick, dab it with a tissue and
apply your lip stick. -
To avoid lipstick on your teeth, after application, run your index
finger through the middle of your lips and pull it back out. The excess
will come off on your finger, not your teeth.
- If your lipstick shade turns out to be brighter than you thought
it would be, color in your lips with a pencil a few shades darker than
your lipstick (for instance, brown pencil under dark red lipstick) and
layer the lipstick on top. Or coat the lipstick with a darker lip gloss,
which will turn down the heat.

Here is a classic tip: If you have run out of tooth paste? Put salt on
your toothbrush to help clean your teeth and freshen your breath. Sexy
lips make you look provocative, mysterious-even a little dangerous...
