 Who is
Nalu? You may
ask. She is Zambia's True Love songbird. She expresses her feelings and
thoughts about life, love and other things.
She stakes her claim to
be taken seriously as a young African female musician with her debut
album, House.. Money… Car..., which features Exile, K'Millian and
Shimaster.
Real Name:
Nalwamba Sinah Namukoko
Stage Name: Nalu

Marital Status:
Single
Family and
Educational Background: 3rd born daughter in the family of seven,
four brothers and two sisters. Nalu went to Namununga, Nsansa and Nkwazi
Primary schools. She later went to Mpelembe Secondary school where she
completed her secondary School.
Musical Background:
"Both my parents love music and appreciate it in a very special
way. So, I guess I can say I was born into a musical family. I used to
sing in concerts at Nursery school and also at primary school."
In 1999, Nalu performed
for KTV talent show as guest artist which was broadcast on M-Net. She
has also featured on Joe Chibangu's The Ambassordor album in the songs
Nakupenda and Uzani yewa.

Why
House…Money…Car? "Well, people must know that true love is
not in material wealth but in the heart. I want to express my feelings
and thoughts about love and life."
What is your
greatest Musical desire? "To be known worldwide!"
What do you say to
your fans? "To everyone who has enjoyed my singing and to those
who have come up to me and told me great encouraging things, I thank you
dearly. You have given me so much strength. Expect the best from
me".

Nalu is certainly
the female Zambian musician that everyone is talking about. She has the
