Fields
Of Gold
engulfed
in a silent loudness
lonely hollow hearts devoid of a smile
trapped by loose emotions of anger
a hunger irresistible to the proud
the fragrance strewn on the streets
raping nature as the fields broke down
carried by the wild driven on winds
a breakneck, a heartbreak and a redface
all haboured equal apetites
bonds clattered as passions silvered
as the mellow fields turnrd around
so yellow the hearts were saddened
the dirge many bellies sang
cursed and squirmed at the birth of hunger
mine churned in disbelief, 've cried before
at this i walked on tear smitten
defeat by this emptiness, i conceeded
my loud silence starts here.
