Keep Hope Alive!

The moon on the horizon of the eastern sky,

The sun a red ball setting in the western sky,

The birds flying back to their hiding places

Thank God for the birds that sing, and

Children whose sticky fingers cling,

Birds that fly happily in pairs as the world cheers

On the one hand and the envious jeer on the other.

A tender shoot at the edge of a great valley

Standing firm and demanding a moral answer

To questions of reality…

A perfect beauty of a rose flower,

A sweet aroma of flowers.

At the break of winter,

And the dawn of adulthood,

With a bundle of desires and emotions

Do not be lured into the highways

And subways of this world

‘cause up yonder lie fabulous things.

Make effort and an effort only

to uncover the optimal mix of ambition and emotion.

Believe in God and also in yourself

for unbelief in oneself is a fearful belief.

Fear not what lies ahead

‘cause no passion so effectively robs the mind

of it’s power of acting rationally as fear.

Even a dead fish can swim downstream,

But it takes a live one to swim upstream

Keep hope alive . . .

They say laughter is a tranquilliser with no side effects

But silence kills the eardrum especially of a loved one

So be merry and hold fast to your belief in God,

‘cause he who believes in nothing falls for anything

You must be a believer to be an achiever

Remember that there are no hopeless situations,

only men grow hopeless about them.

Thus people who receive Gods best are those

with a never say never kind of attitude.

Keep hope alive like a tender shoot!!

‘cause hope is the last thing you lose…
